title: Daylight Blog | Jason Badeaux
description: "Jason Badeaux is the cofounder and CEO of Daylight, where he’s building a decentralized energy future powered by people, not monopolies. With a background in infrastructure investing at Bernhard Capital and energy banking at Piper Sandler, Jason has seen firsthand the fragility of our outdated grid. That’s why he started Daylight: to transform homes into resilient power producers and make energy a bottom-up movement. A lifelong believer in local empowerment and system-level change, Jason is driven by one goal: bringing abundant, affordable, and autonomous energy to everyone."
